The Zenith Elite 6150 was released in 2015 as a steel dress watch. It is now also available in rose gold. The cambered dial has a sort of Bauhaus purity, with engraved baton hour markers and narrow leaf-shaped hands, and nothing (not even a date window, a commendable and courageous move) disturbing the classical elegance. It is framed by the 42mm case, slim at 9.45 mm, with ergonomic lugs and fluted crown, and mounted on a leather strap with rubber lining. Water resistance is 5 bar, 50 metres. The rose gold version has a silver-toned dial, while the steel version is available with silver-toned or blue dial.
The sapphire caseback reveals the Elite 6150 calibre, developed and built entirely in-house. The Elite movement has a long history, introduced in 1994, and now improved, with twin barrels providing a 100-hour power reserve, and a centre-sweep seconds hand. It is exceptionally slim at 3.92 mm thickness and runs at 28,800 vibrations per hour, 4 Hertz.

Without doubt a fine dress watch, now available in the two case versions. The rose-gold model is reference 18.2270.6150/01.C498, price €12,900. The stainless steel models, with silvered or blue dial, is reference 03.2270.6150/01.C493, price €7,000.
