L’Duchen in 2012 Basel World Watch and Jewellery Show launched the brand new Space Collection men’s watch series including four models that all took use of the transparent crystal case back Soprod A10 or A10-BV self-winding movement – depended on the watch design- balance wheel is clearly visible on the open dial.

The stars, planetary rings and the shape of the galaxy are readily available on the dial of the wrist watch. And the names for the wrist watches are related to the space such as the Supernova, Saturn, Eclipse and Galaxie, vividly interpreting the theme of the space.
The bottom plate of the movement is decorated with the round wood lie and the pendulum has traditional vertical Cotes de Geneve. Through the transparent watch back can appreciate the chamfer and polish edge of the movement.
All the new watches are equipped with PVD coated stainless steel case and anti-reflective sapphire crystal, crown carved with L’Duchen logo, calfskin strap with butterfly folding clasp engraved brand signs.
L’Duchen is a relatively young brand, introduced the first watch collection in 2004 used ETA automatic winding movement. There are three classic case shapes. The basic inspiration of the brand came from the “L’Duchene&Fils” old pocket watch found in an antique shop and then created the initial series wrist watch according to the demand of the close watch collectors. It was their achievement on the market. However, with the increase of the watch series, there are quartz wrist watches and lady costume wrist watches.
The new Space Collection series fully demonstrated L’Duchen’s manual assembly skills, including the various elements of the dial which requires a 30-step manual.
