The foray by fashion brands into timepieces is largely characterised by licensed products that bear their name and very little else. Ralph Lauren, however, bucks the trend by teaming up with luxury group Richemont for its Swiss-made watches, tapping on the expertise of the watch manufactures under the group’s belt.
The COSC-certified RL67 Chronometer from the Black Safari Collection features a mechanical self-winding movement with 42-hour power reserve, a testimony to the American designer’s seriousness about true watch-making.
