Personally, I’m not especially a fan of this kind of date display but with this watch, it actually works, as I feel one date aperture would have been too little given the expanse of blank space on the dial. As we have come to expect out of Parmigiani, the movement has been completed to a very large standard, with the highlight of course being the good gold, engraved rotor. On July 5th, Addison Frei became the latest laureate of the Parmigiani Montreux Jazz Piano Solo Competition, captivating the jury with his enthralling repertoire. This was Addison’s first visit to Montreux, but at only 25 years old, it will surely not be the last we hear from this talented young American.

Elsewhere, over the course of two weeks, as the Parmigiani hot air balloons hovered back and forth along the Montreux riviera, music lovers were treated to a multitude of outstanding performances from many great artists.
