Bubble Booba

Booba and Corum Watch Instructions are presenting not one, not two, but three Bubblesque models in several different versions. The dial of the first model features the cover of the rapper’s eighth album, Nero Nemesis, released in 2015.

Bubble Booba

In 2015, Corum revived its favorite Bubble watch with three brand new models. One of these was that the Corum Bubble Skeleton. The Bubble watch has become something of an icon for Corum and it’s not tough to see why – particularly with this domed sapphire crystal. For 2017, Corum is upgrading the Bubble Skeleton, also known as the Corum Bubble 47 Squelette view, by offering it in 3 new bright colorways and at a lower price compared to 2015 Bubble Skeleton.Corum, in the event you have forgotten, was obtained by China Haidian Holdings (currently called Citychamp Watch & Jewellery Group Limited) at 2013. Following the acquisition, the brand set about consolidating its set and seeking to construct a more concentrated portfolio of goods. The Bubble watch was revived as a portion of that. The decision to generate the Bubble view a priority is a pretty astute one, in my opinion. A strong, distinct look is just one of the hallmarks of a successful watch and also the Bubble watch certainly fulfills this requirement as a result of its striking domed sapphire crystal. Therefore, the new Corum Bubble 47 Squelette watches for 2017 do not stray far from this formula. These new watches come at the same 47mm case since the Bubble watches from 2015. Made out of stainless steel, it’s a fairly generic looking round circumstance, and also the only really noteworthy thing about it’s the big bubble-shaped crown. The dial is where most of the changes are located. While the older Bubble Skeleton had a rather plain skeletonized grey dial, the newest Corum Bubble 47 Squelette watches will probably include brightly colored dials. There are three colorways, however, the differences between both are quite minor. If you look carefully, you can see that the key skeletonized plate is blue, but the bigger plates and bridges are painted in blue, green, or purple, depending on the reference. The other main distinction is in the palms. The Bubble Skeleton view from 2015 had skeletonized hands, however, the newest Corum Bubble 47 Squelette watches have solid hands painted with Super-Luminova in the same colour as the watch’s movement plates. Another fun detail about the newest Corum Bubble 47 Squelette watches would be the lollipop-style seconds hand, which also has Super-Luminova painted at precisely the exact same color as the movement plates. The hands are also incredibly large, presumably to improve legibility from the skeletonized dial.

For the other two models, Corum chose to call on the talent and creativity of the students of the La Chaux-de-Fonds School of Applied Arts (EAA). A writing in perfect harmony with the rapper, resulting of a collaboration between Booba, the EAA and Polish designer Kamil Borowski, is featured on the first of these models. The second model shows a skull under the word “Kopp”, the rapper’s nickname.

Bubble Booba

Symbols of their time, Booba and the Bubble have constantly moved forward and dared to assert their creative differences. By uniting an audience from seemingly different generations, origins and backgrounds, they have become standard-bearers for a new vision of the future by taking possession of it.
