Unveiled in 1935, the Bugatti Aerolithe, which vanished the very same year, remains an inexhaustible source of inspiration to Parmigiani Fleurier.

The Parmigiani Jewelry Tonda 1950 Galaxy Gold Bracelet and the Tonda Métropolitaine Selene would be the newest unofficial (maybe official at some point) “his and hers” apparel watch offerings out of the brand. Interestingly enough, pricing is considerably lower compared to the previously published Tonda 1950 Galaxy Set.To create these striking and statement-making dials, Parmigiani Fleurier use a technique that requires falling “Aventurine,” which is a hybrid copper and glass material, into the midnight blue dial creating what seems like stars — consequently, “Galaxy.” Personally, I find this decoration intriguing with a nearly poetic allure, and I am eager to find these extra versions brandishing the special technique. If the dial seems familiar, that is because two decades ago, Parmigiani Fleurier released the first Tonda 1950 Galaxy Collection, which came on a glossy black leather strap with a diamond bezeled rose gold case. While the Tonda 1950 Galaxy Gold Bracelet can bear a brand new reference number, it is the exact same watch as before using the star of this series being the new slick solid rose gold bracelet with folding clasp. While I do not necessarily want to invest too much time delving into the technical details of a watch we already covered (you can read all about it in the link above), the accession of the bracelet gives this view a far more handsome appearance.
