AllDaytonaThe Rolex Daytona’s history is being discussed by Vincent Daveau, journalist and watch writer, in a 7 part article on Watchonista. Also, interviews with Christie’s International Head of Watches, Aurel Bacs, publisher of vintage watch books and apps John Goldberger and TimeZone’s Managing Director and watch lover William Rohr are being published.

Fratellowatches also has its own spot at this superb collection of Daytona related articles and posts, as we did some write-ups on this watch in the (recent) past.  Remember our Daytona overview in the ‘end-of’-year’ special we did here? More recent, we discussed the newly introduced platinum Rolex Daytona that was introduced in Baselworld (2013). You can read about the Rolex Daytona 116506 here.

However, head over to Watchonista’s Rolex Daytona page here. If you are into Daytona watches and do not want to spend a fortune on the Mondani books, the reference page might be something for you. Also, the expert interviews will give you some insider views on this iconic Rolex model.
